Sony Ericsson TM506 Available from T-Mobile [TM506 Becomes T-Mobile’s First HSDPA Cell Phone]

Sony Ericsson's TM506 handset has just become available from T-Mobile in
the US which is newsworthy not least because the Sony Ericsson TM506 has
the distinction (if one can call it that) of becoming the first HSDPA
handset to be offered by T-Mobile in the US.The Sony Ericsson TM506,
which is billed as being capable of keeping you connected with 'a great
sense of style' sports a somewhat lacklustre 2 megapixel camera billed
as being capable of taking 'high-quality' pictures (though few would
agree that 2 megapixels warrants the 'high-quality' tag these days -
especially when you consider handsets such as LG's 8 megapixel KC910),
stereo Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for wireless connection to
computers and wireless headphones, TeleNav and integrated music player.

Built-in 2.0-megapixel camera takes high-quality pictures to enlarge or
print
Stereo Bluetooth technology connects the phone to a computer or stereo
headset without any wires
Send and receive instant messages with AOL, Yahoo!, Windows Live and
Google Talk
Memory Stick slot easily transfers files and data to another device
Integrated GPS with Telenav Navigator gets turn-by-turn voice/on-screen
directions including nearest hotels, restaurants and even the lowest gas
prices

The 3G Sony Ericsson TM506 offers a purported talktime of up to 7 hours,
a standby time of up to 14 days and is has just become available via
T-Mobile for around the $80 price point.
