new introductions; Samsung BEATb (model M3410) and the Samsung BEATs
(M3200).
Both of these phones are said to feature the 'Motion Play' concept which
will allow you to control your phone and music by a simple movement of
the hand. You'll obviously have to familiarise yourself with the
movements but so far it seems rather simple. Tapping the phone will play
or pause a track while flipping it will mute the music. We all know that
shaking it will take you to the next track!
The only worrying thing is that I foresee a drop in dancing or moving
(without reason) when using one of these phones in the fear that you
might lose that awesome track you're listening to!
The Samsung BEATb (released this September) is a skinny 9.9mm phone that
will feature DNSe technology, Auto EQ and of course; motion play. It's 2
inch LCD display will ensure crisp pictures and the 2 megapixel camera
will also keep you enthused. It also comes standard with Bluetooth, a
3.5 mm audio jack input and is compatible with a wide variety of music
formats (MP3, WMA, e-AAC+, AAC+, AAC)
The Samsung BEATs (released in October) will be the crรจme de la crรจme
of the 2 by offering the same specs as the Samsung BEATb but will also
offer a stereo speaker, amplifier (B&O ICEpower) and this will all be
house in a neat slide phone body.
I'm thinking, wait a month for the better specs!
