Princeton iPod Jive Box Boasts ClassHD Amplifier, Humdrum Styling

Japanese company Princeton have announced their latest iPod dock, the
Princeton Jive Box, which sports 2.1 channel sound delivered by a
ClassHD amplifier offering a not unimpressive 90W of output, an
integrated video out connection - for watching iPod video content or
photos on your TV - as well as a USB connection (ofr direct connection
with your PC/Mac) and a remote.

Featuring a upwards pointing subwoofer, the Princeton Jive Box, whose
design, it has to be said, verges on the wholly mundane, also comes with
an internal LED array which serve to light a strip around the unit in
one a series of colours which, apart from striking us as somewhat tacky,
leads us to another observation - and that is the apparent quality of
finishing (see detail below) which, if a true representation of the
product leaves a great deal to be desired.

The Princeton iPod Jive Box is set to being shipping in Japan for
ยฅ24,800 (roughly t$260//pound sterling175 as at the time of writing).
