LG-GD910 Wristwatch Phone From LG Has 3G

LG will be introducing the LG-GD910, a wristwatch phone that may not
look like much but is feature-packed and would have surely made you feel
like Dick Tracy or Captain Kirk when you’d raise your wrist to
receive a call and speak into the phone. Alas, cordless earphones have
taken the romance out of technology.

The LG-GD910 is a 3G-enabled wristwatch phone that also supports video
calls. You can make video calls with the help of a small camera on the
top right side of the screen. It will first make an appearance in the
European markets after being exhibited at the CES 2009. This phone with
an unusual form factor is a mere 13.9mm thick, features a 1.43″
full touchscreen LCD and download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps via
high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA). Not exactly a smartphone but
should find takers amongst the gizmo freaks.

The LG-GD910 features -
- Voice dialing with built-in speech recognition
- TTS (Text To Speech) feature
- Front-facing camera
- Music player
- Built-in Bluetooth

The handset is waterproof as well, a great feature for budding snoops.
There is no information as of yet on the pricing of the LG-GD910. We
feel that the price point at which this gadget retails will have a huge
impact on its acceptance.
