EOps i24R3 Wireless iPod, iPhone & iMac Gesture Controlled Multi Room Speaker System

Designed by Michael Young, the EOps i24R3 Wireless Gesture Controlled
Multi Room Speaker System, which offers support for iPod, iPhones and
even the iMac (allowing for wireless audio streaming), has just been
unveiled at the Tokyo Designer’s Week event.Sporting a high gloss
white an aluminium design, the EOps i24R3 Wireless Gesture Controlled
Multi Room Speaker System comes with a 'bass dock' consisting of a
Universal Dock for iPods and iPhones mounted in a unit that also houses
a 4' subwoofer rated at 40W paired with wireless 3' satellite speakers,
rated at 20W apiece, all of which feature motion sensors allowing the
user to control the EOps i24R3's volume settings merely 'brushing your
hands past' the units (both the speakers and the base unit) whilst
additional settings, such as equalizer sound effects can also be
controlled in similar contact-free fashion.

Ad into the equation a remote and a 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle that
allows you to wirelessly hook up your iMac or PC to stream music
directly to the i24R3, as well as the units minimalistย aesthetics, and
the resulting package adds up to one of, if not the, most desirable
iPod/iPhone docking stations that we've ever set eyes on and, far from
being a concept, the EOps i24R3 Wireless Gesture Controlled Multi Room
Speaker System is set for release sometime in 2009 - though, at this
time, unit pricing remains user wraps (safe to say it won't be cheap).
