T.photo series based on the company's 710 digital photo frame in the
form of the T.photo 710C which sports minimalist design, a not
inconsiderable 1GB of integrated storage capacity and which can also be
used as an alarm clock.Featuring a 7' widescreen color TFT LCD panel
which, we assume, offers the same 800×600 resolution as the
original T.photo 710, this 'C' model, like its predecessor, comes with
in-built stereo speakers and MP3, WMA and WAV file format compatibility
and can play video clips courtesy of accepting AVI and MOV based video
files (played back at 15fps), but, unlike the original 710, the T.photo
710C also comes with picture clock with alarm and calendar functions
allowing the device to serve as a bedside alarm clock capable of waking
you to your favourite song in the morning (as well as a suitably
becalming picture).
Not quite as ‘cutting edge’ as Asus's new UFOTO UF735 -
which can also be used as a secondary PC monitor - certainly, but an
interesting frame none-the-less, though there's no word at this juncture
concerning unit pricing or availability (at the time of writing, the
T.photo 710C is yet to be listed on Transcend's online store).
