Super Hi-Vision (SHV) 8K Projection System Showcased By NHK Full 1080p x16 HD Resolution Paired with 22.2 Channel Surround Sound

If you are still mesmerised by the picture quality of Full HD, which
comes in at 1920 x 1080 resolution, then the news that NHK have
showcased an 8K projection system capable of producing images that
equate to a staggering sixteen times full 1080p HD quality (7680 x 4320
resolution to be precise) is enough to have you wondering just where it
could all possibly be leading - perhaps to the point where the only
limiting factor is our eyes.Demonstrated at CommunicAsia, NHK's 8K
projection system comprises of two LCoS projector units offering a
combined output of 8,000 lumens beaming pictures - captured with a
prototype 8K camera - onto a screen measuring in at a considerable 6.6 x
3.7 meters. And, as if this is not impressive enough, how about adding a
22.2 channel surround sound set-up into the equation?Seen as a precursor
for SHV demonstration broadcasts set to take place this September (in
which the UK's BBC will be participating) you can also see SHV in action
