LG's new GBC-H20L and the GBW-H20L, which, according to LG's press
release, have been designed specifically for consumer looking for safe
and fast data backup boasts one of the industry’s fastest read and
write speed at 16xwith, for example, the GBW-H20L capable of handling up
to 50GB of data (equivalent to around 4-1/2 hours of high-definition
video or 22 hours of standard definition video) on a dual layer 50GB
BD-R/BD-RE recordable media.

LG's new BE06 will retail for around $380 whilst the GBC-H20L and the
GBW-H20L will retail for around $200 and $280 respectively. The BE06 is
already available whilst the GBC-H20L and the GBW-H20L are set to become
available at any moment (though at the time of writing, we were unable
to find product listings hence are unable to provide imagery of these
two drives).
