iHome Intros iH69 & iH70 Desktop Computer Speaker iPod Docking Stations Billed as World's First PC/Mac Speakers for iPods

iHome has unveiled two new iPod speaker docking stations, simply known
as the iH69 and iH70, which are not only designed to offer speaker units
and a recharging station for all dockable iPods but which, in an
apparent 'world first', also connect directly to your PC or Mac allowing
users to sync their iPods directly with their computers.'At iHome we
continually strive to provide innovative products for iPod owners that
enhance their listening enjoyment and maximize the functionality of
their iPod,' said Evan Stein, Vice President of Marketing, iHome, who
introduced iHome's iH69 and iH70 docking stations. 'The new iH69 and
iH70 are a perfect marriage of sound and design, and with their charging
and sync capabilities, they are the ideal, all-in-one speaker solutions
for the Mac or PC that will consolidate space and bring iHome's advanced
sound technology from audio speakers to computer speakers.'Compatible
with all docking iPod models, the iH69 and iH70 sport high-fidelity
Reson8 speaker chambers providing the listener with premium power
output, computer port, sync switch, volume controls and headphone jack
to allow for private listening with the iH70 serving to distinguish
itself from its stable mate of account of offering more powerful
speakers and a full functioning remote control and the addition of SRS
WOW sound enhancement technology for a fuller, richer and more expansive
listening experience.According to iHome's press release, both the iH69
and iH70 can be pre-ordered now - though we were unable to locate
product listings on iHome site at the time of writing (we were looking
for somewhat more detailed specifications than provided in the press
release) - for just shy of $100 and $130 for the iH69 and iH70
respectively though, should you be looking to pre-order we should advise
that now that an actual release date has not been issued - iHome's press
release merely stating that they will become available 'soon' which, we
assume, will be some time prior to our galaxy ceasing to be.
