Sharp FOMA SH705iII Integrated TV Tuner Cell Phone Announced [Japanese Market Only]

Having just posted about abominable Levi 'The Original' cell phone we'll
act quickly to post about a cell phone that undoubtedly comes in at the
other end of the desirability spectrum in the form of this cool Sharp
FOMA SH705iII cell phone which, apart from boasting sleek, minimalist
appeal also comes with integrated TV tuner.

Details are a little spare on the ground at the time of writing but what
is known is the Sharp's newly announced FOMA SH705iII cell phone is a
1.7 GHz band device with full international roaming 3G capabilities and
comes with a 2.8' 262K colour 400 x 240 resolution TFT screen, a 0.8'
OLD 96 x 39 resolution monochromatic display housed under the primary
TFT for displaying information such as the time, a 3.2MP camera and
microSD card slot. Oh, and, of course, and integrated TV tuner.

Offering a purported battery life of 175 talktime or up to two hours of
continuous TV viewing, Sharp's FOMA SH705iII will be made available to
customers of the Japanese NTT DoCoMo (cool name) mobile network on what
is reported to be an exclusive basis - so don't expect the FOMA SH705iII
to appear, certainly in this guise, out side of Japan. Period.

No word as yet concerning unit pricing.
