XPS M1530 and M1330 laptops (including pink), and the same day we posted
about Belkin's new iPod Nano 'pink ribbon' cases comes news that Swedish
mobile communication company Neonode are now offering their highly
desirable touchscreen Neonode N2 handsets in four new colours - and,
yes, a pink N2 is included.
The new range of N2 colours consist, specifically, of Lime (green),
Azure (blue), Rubine (red) and Roza (pink) - as opposed to Dell's
Flamingo Pink (just how many shades of pink do we need?) - which will
serve to compliment that original black N2.
'The color portfolio is an important part of our strategy to spread the
brand and product awareness as well as ramp up the production and reach
our sales targets,' said Daniel Stalbo, Director of Marketing at
Neonode. 'These new colors will be a natural part of several upcoming
promotional campaigns and we also expect them to be a powerful tool when
entering new markets.'
I think we need to start a purple revolution, myself, as that particular
colour appears to be somewhat neglected amidst all this pink madness.
Still, we wouldn't bet on the pink version of the Neonode N2 not selling
like the proverbial hot cakes now that a report from Pantone has listed
pink as being one of ten the hottest, in vogue colours for Spring 08.
We have been unable to ascertain whether Neonode's Director of Marketing
was wearing a pink shirt whilst announcing the new N2 flavours.
