Mini Cell Phone/iPod Rechargeable Speaker with Collapsible Resonance Chamber

Whilst we've featured a fair few ultra compact portable speaker
solutions here on TFTS, this mini speaker, designed specifically for use
with cell phones, iPods and PMPs in general, certainly managed to get
our attention on account of its expandable resonance chamber which,
according to the linked product site, results in a 'shockingly huge sound'.

Quite how 'shockingly huge' the sound emanating from this device
actually is in practice is, of course, wholly open to question (and very
much dependent on you definition of 'shockingly huge' - my wife’s
definition of this term, for example, appears to be overly excessive)
but we certainly like the idea of a collapsible resonance chamber
facilitating a 'larger' sound from the device that, once collapsed, will
certainly tuck away in something such as a backpack with considerable
ease backpack - though, if only on account of its shape, perhaps not a
pocket.

The speaker offers 2.4W output, which is not an especially poor show
considering its size, and an purported endurance of up to 6 - 8 hours
based on a full 4 hour charge and, thanks to the speaker coming with its
own USB rechargeable battery and amplification it won't serve to drain
your digital player's juice in use.

The Mini Cell Phone/iPod Rechargeable Speaker retails for around $31 /
pound sterling15 / เน๏ฟฝเธ20.

Update: It’s just come to our attention that this mini speaker is
actually also available via Think Geek for $25.
