sporting Kodak's Quick Touch Border touchscreen controls are also,
according to Kodak at least, capable of displaying photos in HD format
(which seems to merely translate to 'fairly reasonable resolution').
The new digital frames consist of the 10' M1020, the 8' M820 and 7' P720
which sport resolutions of 800 x 480, 800 x 400 and 480 x 234 pixels
respectively which, curious HD format issues aside (these HD resolutions
are new on us), are certainly fairly respectable as far as digital
picture frames go.
Apart from offering glorious quasi-HD (not HD at all) resolutions,
Kodak's new digital picture frames also come with Kodak's Quick Touch
Border which offers touchscreen control of the frames based, as the name
suggests, around the border of the main image area - thus allowing for
easy accessibility of the frames menus whilst allowing the main picture
area remain smudge free. Two of the new models (namely the Easyshare
M1020 and Easyshare M820) will also play video content and MP3s.
