Samsung WB5000 Superzoom Camera Shoots RAW and Records HD

Word is that Samsung is almost ready with its WB5000 digital camera, a
24x zoom device that shoots RAW photos and records video in HD quality.
The camera does pick on the traits of a DSLR, but it's not exactly one
and speaking of the optical zoom lens (which is widest at 26mm), under
the hood there's a 12.5 megapixel sensor that ensures sharp imagery.

The Samsung WB5000 comes with a DSLR-like grip for comfortable handling,
adds full manual controls, face detection and a dedicated
video-recording button at the back to make things quicker and easier if
you need to snap a video when you least expect it.

Although there's not much else regarding the goodies in the new Samsung
WB8500, we've managed to find out that the full specs along with the
price should be revealed in the coming days with the camera slated for a
release in the last quarter.

Looks promising from our end, how about you?
