Medion S47000 Pocket Camcorder

The market for pocket-sized high-definition video recorders is heating
up and the likes of the Flip Ultra HD and Creative Vado HD are garnering
some pretty rave reviews as of late. It would seem that just about
everyone wants to get into the HD movie-making thing and Medion is no
different. Their latest creation, the S47000 Medion Life Digital Sports
Camcorder, brings along with it some well-rounded features and a
relatively painless price tag.

The Medion S47000 is designed with the sportsman in mind with its
rubberized body and outdoory attitude. From the looks of it you should
be able to get away with some pretty rough activities on your quest to
become the next YouTube viral media sensation. It sports a 2-in LCD
display and is capable of recording HD movies in 720p MOV format. You
can make use of both the 90 MB of internal memory or the integrated SDHC
card slot for nearly unlimited storage capacity. If stills are more your
thing, you can also use the S74000 as a standard 1MP digital camera with
2X zoom.
Some of the other features of note include a USB 2.0 interface,
automatic white balance, and rechargeable Li-ion battery power supply.
The unit has also been designed to be both dust and water-resistant.
Once you've recorded yourself base-jumping in Kilimanjaro you can hook
it right up to your PC or HDTV with the HDMI out for instant HD
gratification. The Medion S47000 is available for sale now for 99GBP
(about $162). For additional specs or to purchase your own you can head
