Fujitsu Esprimo Q1500 mini PC Announced

Want to save some space on your desktop and still don't want to
compromise on performance by getting a nettop or a netbook, maybe a
mini-pc would be the answer to your problem. At the IFA 2009 in Berlin,
Fujitsu has unveiled its latest Mini PC, the Fujitsu Esprimo Q1500. It
is a slick little demon packed inside a box the size of a CD case,
around 5 cm tall.

Although the Esprimo Q1500 only weighs 1.7kg it still packs some serious
performance. Unlike similar products (most of them) that run on Intel's
Atom processor, the Q1500 uses an Intel Core 2 Duo processor — yet
only using 19W of power while idling, has 4GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard
drive. It has six USB ports to connect your external hardware, HDMI to
putput video to your HDTV and optionally Blu-ray capability.

The machine is very quiet, producing a sound as loud as 17 dB(A) on idle
and 24 db(A) on load.

Fujitsu Esprimo Q1500 mini PC will be available this month in Germany
for 699 Euros. We're still waiting for pricing or a release date for
other regions, as well.
