Microsoft SideWinder X4 Gaming Keyboard Announced Microsoft’s SideWinder X4 Offers 26-Key Anti-Ghosting Which Will Count in Battle; Game On!

Gamers out there come out, come out wherever you are. You re entitled
for a break and you might as well check out a new gaming device while
you re pausing your favorite title. Microsoft has come up with a brand
new SideWinder keyboard the X4
which should help you accomplish your quests and kill your online
opponents even faster than the keyboard you re currently using.
The SideWinder X4 keyboard comes with the industry s most advanced
anti-ghosting technology. In other words you ll be able to press more
keys and combine them as you see fit in order to respond faster to the
action on the screen in front of you. Does that sound like something you
could go for? With games that require lots of buttons to control the
actions of your character, and yes I am thinking about World of Warcraft
right now, a keyboard like the X4 could come in handy.
The anti-ghosting technology has been developed by the Applied Sciences
Group and it will let you press up to 26-keys at once. Although you
might never require that many buttons to press at once, will you?
Steven Bathiche, research manager at the Applied Sciences Group at
Microsoft had this to say about the X4:
We re always looking for new and novel ways to enhance people s
interactions with their PCs. We know that ghosting can be a problem for
gamers, so we wanted to develop a way to eliminate this issue and
improve the overall gaming experience, and we ve succeeded with the new
anti-ghosting technology in the SideWinder X4 Keyboard.
The software knows exactly what keys you pressed and it will send the
appropriate signals to the game. Therefore all your combinations will
initiate an action on the screen and you might just have an edge on your
rivals. The keyboard also comes with features like macro recording, mode
and profile switching and adjustable backlighting.
The SideWinder X4 keyboard will be available next month and it will cost
$59.95. In case you absolutely need to have it then go ahead and
pre-order it at Amazon later this week when it will show up in Amazon s
inventory.
