Samsung Intros New G-Series G2 & G3 External Hard Drives New Samsung 2.5โ€ & 3.5โ€ USB 2.0 External HDDs Boast Eco Friendly Credentials

If you re looking for an external hard disk that touts eco friendly
credentials you may be interested to learn that Samsung have announced a
new range of G-Series external HDDs that come in 2.5 � (G2) and 3.5 �
(G3) flavours, boast up to 2TB capacity (G3) and which, thanks to being
halogen-free, featuring low-noise levels and low-power consumption and,
all importantly, meeting ROHS standards in terms for eco friendliness
are able to claim to be eco aware with justification.
Samsung s new G-Series G2 and G3 external hard drives sport USB 2.0
interfaces offing data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps whilst, in
terms of the capacities, offer 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB densities
in the case of the 2.5 � G2 and 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities in the
case of the 3.5 � G3 whilst all come bundled with Samsung s Auto Backup
software, SecretZone data encryption software and SafetyKey allowing for
password protection of drives.
