Optoma PK201, PK301 Pico-Projectors Announced New Pico-Projectors Feature 2000:1 contrast ratio, HDMI, microSD

Optoma, who boasts that they sell more DLP projectors than any other
company in the world, has shown off new high-end pico-projectors for
those on the go. The PK201 and PK301 will have a 16:9 aspect ratio, with
an impressive 2000:1 contrast ratio. With the included microSD slot,
users can play files directly off of that without needing to connect the
Optoma to a video source.
The only difference between the two models is size (and price). The
PK201 will be smaller, weighing 3 ounces less than the PK301 and will be
an inch thinner. Both devices will feature VGA and HDMI ports, along
with an audio-out port (although 0.5W speakers will provide sound in a
pinch). They'll be able to display a screen size up to 120-inches.
They'll both include 20MB of on board storage, though you'll likely want
to expand that with a microSD card (via the SD slot, which accepts card
sizes up to 16GB). The PK301 and PK201 can play most major video formats
(AVI, MOV, MP3 and 3GP). The PK201 will cost $299 while the PK301 will
cost $399.
