Verizon x NVIDIA Internet Tablet With 4G Wireless Support in the Works 1080p Full HD Verizon Tablet PC to Run on NVIDIA's Tegra Platform

Verizon Wireless is the latest name to try their chances in the tablet
PC market as the company has officially unveiled today that they've been
working with the folks from NVIDIA to come up with a touchscreen tablet
device that would boast 4G Wireless support and would be capable of full
1080p HD video rendering thanks to NVIDIA's Tegra platform.
A first model of the Tegra-powered Ultra tablet has already been put
together and demonstrated with a Motorola 4G wireless modem on Big Red's
pre-commercial LTE network, to show that other than high speed Internet
it delivers what consumers demand — bandwidth for a full HD web
experience . All on-the-go!
We know consumers want full internet access and we are pleased to be
working with NVIDIA in our LTE Innovation Center on a solution that can
process full HD content with the battery life of a smartphone, said
Brian Higgins, Executive Director, LTE Ecosystem Development at Verizon
Wireless.
No word regarding price or specific availability, but let's hope we'll
get one to play with as soon as possible.
