MSI Wind U130 & U135 Netbooks Get Pinetrail Treatment MSI Updates U130 & U135 With Atom N450 Processors

As you already know netbooks are getting smarter and smarter these days,
with all this hype around Intel's latest Pinetrail architecture for
their new Atom processors. Speaking of which, here's a new batch of
devices to use the aforementioned CPU and its integrated graphics,
coming from the MSI stables &#8212
; the new MSI U130 and th MSI U135 models which are supposedly the first
netbooks to achieve international WiMAX Forum certification.
Promising 15-percent better battery life and 10-percent more
performance, the Taiwanese computer manufacturer has included the Intel
Atom N450 processor in both models. Other than that, they both pack a
10-inch LED-backlit display (1,024×600 resolution), either a 160GB
or a 250GB 2.5-inch hard drive, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a four-in-one
card reader, a new chiclet keyboard and a touch pad with a 20 per cent
larger surface area. There's also Wireless (802.11n) and Bluetooth 2.0
connectivity, along with optional 3.5G WiMAX.
Price wise MSI Wind U130 should sell for some pound sterling229 in Snow
White and Brilliant Black, while the MSI U135 is available in Sterling
Silver, Brilliant Black, Midnight Blue and Cherry Red and goes for pound
sterling279.
