Apple Tablet Release Date Rumored for March iSlate Touchscreen Multimedia Tablet Debut Gets Closer

By now, we're almost sure that Apple's tablet is going to be called
iSlate (as Cupertino has already secured the domain name a few weeks
ago) and that the company will take the wraps off by the end of January.
What we're not that sure about — but there are a lot of
speculations going on, is when the device will actually make it to the
market. However, according to the Wall Street Journal citing people
briefed on the matter the 10- to 11-inch touchscreen tablet should be
in stores this March.
Supposedly looking more like Apple's line of MacBook laptops than the
iPhone (size wise), Cupertino keeps tight-lipped when it comes to
confirming or denying the rumors about their multimedia device, which by
the way, will let people watch movies and tv shows, play games, surf the
Internet or even read electronic content like books or newspapers.
One of the people briefed on the matter added that Apple was working
on two different material finishes for the tablet, though it was unclear
whether the Cupertino, Calif., company was just testing them or planning
to come out with multiple versions of the device at different prices,
the WSJ reported.
