Alereon USB NoWire Laptop Adapter Revealed New Wireless USB Gadget Lets You Wirelessly Use Your Laptop With HDTV

Using a notebook connected to a HDTV is a popular choice with many
people, but crawling behind your HDTV can be a pain, and depending on
the length of your VGA cable – you may have to sit on the floor
next to your HDTV. Enter the Aleron USB NoWire extender, a new device that
'll let you wirelesssly use your laptop as if it was connected to your
HDTV via VGA or HDMI.
The extender consists of two USB dongles, one that attaches to your
notebook and another that attaches to the HDMI or VGA port of your
favorite HDTV. Then, through the power of Ultra Wideband radio, you can
use your notebook from up to a distance of 30 feet.
The NoWire will be able to use resolutions up to 1680 x 1050 and Alereon
promises speeds of 220 Mbps, which theoretically should give you a
lag-free experience. Alereon says the device will hit stores in March
2010, but there isn't any word on pricing yet.
