LG eXpo Gets Official LG eXpo Available for $199.99 from AT&T; Projector Nowhere to be Found

Starting today the LG eXpo is available from AT T stores for just
$199.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate. We knew
it was coming and we were really expecting to see it. Unfortunately the
mini projector is nowhere to be seen so if you buy the smartphone today
you re only getting a touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard, Windows
Mobile-running handset.Sure the phone is worth buying, especially if you
love Windows Mobile, but I bet that anyone waiting for the LG eXpo was
also hoping to see the pico projector included in
Let s take a look at the officially official specs and features of the
LG eXpo then:3.2-inch touchscreen display 480 x 800 resolution Full
QWERTY keyboard 1GHz processor Quad-band GSM/GPRS Tri-band UMTS/HSDPA
EDGE connectivity Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support 5-megapixel camera with 5x
zoom and live video capture and playback Music player with various music
services and apps 512MB internal memory Up to 16GB memory upgrade via
microSD 1500mAh Li Ion battery Windows Mobile 6.5
Like I said before, from the specs and features point of view, the eXpo
is certainly a dependable handset. You have a powerful 1GHz processor
taking care of calls, emails, Internet browsing, pictures and video
recording, music playing and all the apps you can find in the
Marketplace. The full QWERTY keyboard should be more than useful for
sending fast SMS messages and emails and the 5-megapixel camera is going
to get you some pretty decent pictures on the go.
But whatever happened to that projector? Not every hot phone out there
can offer you such a feature. And a portable projector, although not a
must have accessory, is definitely a cool addition to the LG eXpo
especially for gadget lovers like us. Neither LG nor AT T has specified
when we can expect to see the projectors in stores and we have no idea
how much it will cost.
So what do you say folks? Are you going to get the LG eXpo or are you
still waiting for the HTC HD2 to hit the States?
