Razer Announces New Abyssus Gaming Mouse 3500DPI, Very Simple Design; Abyssus to Sell for $49.99

Razer is a well known brand between gamers and not only. The company has
produced various mice and keyboards over the years and gamers all over
the world have cherished them while winning battle after battle with the
help and especially the precision of such gaming accessories.
So whenever I spot a new Razer gaming mouse I can t simply ignore it
since I am always looking at a tool that could serve my gaming habits
very well. Today we re looking at a new mouse, the Abyssus that has been
just launched by Razer.
Besides having a hard to spell name, the Abyssus is definitely going to
impress you both pleasantly and unpleasantly with some of its features.
So let s start with the bad news first since everything should be
already clear from the picture above. The Abyssus lacks a complicated
design and it has no extra buttons that could be customized in games. It
presents a very minimalistic concept and it comes with the regular two
buttons, left and right, with the scroll wheel in the middle.
Disappointing you say? I tend to agree with that. When I m playing games
I d like to have some extra buttons on the mouse which can trigger some
very specific actions. So why decide to lose those buttons completely?
Here are some of the other features which represent the good news about
the Abyssus:
3500dpi Razer Precision 3.5G infrared sensor
1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time
Mechanical dpi/polling rate switches
On-The-Fly Sensitivity adjustment
Always-On mode
Ultra-large non-slip buttons
16-bit ultra-wide data path
60-120 inches per second and 15g of acceleration
Three independently programmable Hyperesponse buttons
Ambidextrous design
Scroll wheel with 24 individual click positions
Zero-acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet
Seven-foot, lightweight, non-tangle cord
Approx. size in mm 115(L) x 63(W) x 40(H)
You d think that the mouse has a cheaper price since it lacks extra
buttons but you d be wrong. At $49.99 the Abyssus is a little too
expensive for my taste. But if you love it and want to have it then you
can order it online right now or wait until late December to get it in
stores.
