B&W P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphones Announced Bowers & Wilkins P5 Headphones to Launch in January

Bowers Wilkins has never been one to play the bargain game, but with
over 45 years of audio experience we'll have to agree that the company
know a thing or two about coming up with both high class and high
quality products. If our last encounter with the B W brand was when we
found out that the guys are working on a Zeppelin Mini Dock for the
iPod, this time we just heard that they have built the company's first
pair of headphones.
Promising natural, unfatiguing performance, the Bowers Wilkins P5
Mobile Hi-Fi headphones feature boast a closed back design, magnetically
attached sheep leather earpads, along with state-of-the-art noise
canceling technology and a built in microphone for the best possible
sound quality, working great wit both your regular home audio equipment
or your iPod.
Recognizing that many mobile headphones can be tiring when listened to
over extended periods, Bowers Wilkins engineers at the world-famous
Stenying Research Establishment have worked tirelessly to produce a
headphone with a natural, unfatiguing performance. The use of specially
developed ultra-linear neodymium magnets and highly optimized Mylar
diaphragms provide the best possible sound quality. As always, countless
hours of critical listening and tuning have played a major part in the
P5 s natural and engaging performance.
The new B W P5 Mobile Hi-Fi Headphones are going to be available in
shops in January, and although there's no sign regarding price, I for
one would expect something … staggering.
