LG 15" OLED HDTV Gets Official

LG have confirmed that they are to release their new 15 OLED HDTV
– which as yet remains untitled – in Korea from as early as
November of this year with further international rollouts following in
2010 whilst additionally confirming that the 30 OLED they're presently
developing will now be set back to a 2012 release.
Whilst specific details concerning LG's new ultra slim OLED TV are yet
to prove forthcoming what is being reported is that LG's new OLED TV
will purportedly boast 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio along with a screen
life coming in at a not too shabby 30,000 hours as well as especially
low power consumption levels – but that's about all that's known
at the time of writing That said, those interested in getting the full
low-down – which includes yourselves – won't have to wait
for long as LG are set to show the device at next week's IFA 2009
consumer show in Berlin. Needless to say, we'll be bringing you an
