Iomega Debuts StorCenter ix4-200d NAS Storage Array

Iomega have taken the wraps off of their newest StorCenter ix4-200d NAS.
Targeted at small business consumers, the new Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d
NAS is a storage option that puts four SATA-II 3.5 inch drives into a
conveniently sized package and offers great options like RAID 5, 10 or
JBOD setups.

To be competitive as a network storage device, StorCenter ix4-200d comes
with two Gigabit Ethernet ports that should give it enough speed for a
low response time. There are three USB 2.0 ports as well, and if you
would want it, there?s an optional USB Bluetooth dongle as well, which
will let you transfer files from phones, PDAs and other Bluetooth
enabled devices as well.

The NAS supports connectivity to external storage and printers through
its USB ports. You can use its LCD screens to navigate files and
transfer them using the one-touch transfer button. It also supports UPnP
media streaming, Time Machine support, Active Directories, and Video
Surveillance with Axis network cameras. Also, all models come with
automatic RAID rebuild and iSCSI block-level access.

Iomega's StorCenter ix4-200d NAS models will be available in 2TB, 4TB
and 8TB variants and will be priced at $700, $900 and $1,900 respectively.
