iLuv i1166 Digital Media Player Announced

Trying to keep down in size and weight, most portable electronics these
days make sacrifices, but not the new iLuv i1166. Hot from the wires,
the new iLuv i1166 portable multimedia player has been announced to be
available with a compact (16×9) 9-inch screen, DVD player and an
iPod dock — and although some say it's a bit chunky, we think it's
nothing short of cool.

The stylish new device runs either on an AC Power, a built-in lithium
polymer rechargeable battery or a car adapter.

The divX certified i1166 supports MPEG4 and VCD, iTunes libraries and
DVD collections, and comes with video out so that you can connect it to
your home theater system. Compatible with all iPod with video (more to
it, it offers full control over an iPod when docked with an AC adapter),
the iLuv i1166 also boasts a built-in USB / SD / MMC card slot and when
docked

Inside the box, there's also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a remote control.

The iLuv i1166 is expected to be available mid-October and will retail
for a MSRP of $269.99.
