HTC Tilt 2 Release Date on AT&T Rumored for October 18

It's harder and harder to buy a new smartphone these days mainly because
there are so many models out in the wild to choose from and because some
of them have been custom named for a specific carrier. But considering
that you're on AT T and looking for a Windows Moblie 6.5 handset with a
HTC logo on it, how about the new HTC Tilt 2 which is rumored to be
introduced by the US carrier in the coming weeks?

HTC Tilt 2 carries over a 3.6-inch WVGA display and a 3.2 megapixel
camera, features a QWERTY keyboard with tilt-up display (if you wondered
what inspired the name) and a full duplex speakerphone.

Although not official yet, AT T is expected to bring the HTC Tilt 2 to
life on their network starting October 18. Word is that the handset will
cost $299.99 after a $50 rebate.

Not sure what makes it such a great phone — now that we've heard
of the new HTC HD2 (Leo), but we're curious to know if you're going to
pay the price to get your hands on the new Tilt 2 when released.
