Even though it sold millions, the original Storm was considered a
failure, but now RIM's new BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 is probably October's
most craved-for mobile. Expected to be harder, better, faster, and
stronger, some PhoneArena ninjas have already managed to get their hands
on a preproduction device running non-final software , and although it
looks similar to the original Storm 9530, this one intends to right all
those faults of SurePress.
Design wise the new BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 is not much different from
it's younger sibling. It's a bit smaller, which makes it weigh less,
comes with rubber side keys (instead of silver) and a different battery
door latch mechanism borrowed from the 8520. Other than that the
clickable screen is much better, the autocorrect function actually works
and the keyboard is supposedly working like a charm.
