Sanyo XACTI CG110 HD Camcorder Unveiled XACTI CG110 Full HD ‘Dual Camera’ Set to Land Next Month

Sanyo have officially announced the latest in their XACTI line of
camcorders in the form of the Full HD XACTI CG110 dual camera which
aside from offering 1080p video capture also boasts 12x zoom thanks to a
Double-Range Zoom function.
The Sanyo XACTI CG110, which utilises a new high-speed image-processing
engine, along with serving as a highly compact Full HD video camera
(MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 video formats) will also capture stills at 14
megapixel resolution and you can also factor in 16GB of onboard storage
capacity to get you started which, of course, can be supplemented with
memory cards such as SD, SDHC and SDXC cards or, if you re looking to
add WiFi connectivity, you can also use Eye-Fi cards.
In terms of inbuilt connectivity you can factor in USB 2.0, A/V and, of
course, HDMI whilst, if you re concerned about battery life, Sanyo have
stated that the XACTI CG110 should see you good for around an hour for
HD capture or some 160 still captures with a 2.7 folding LCD display
assisting you in composing and reviewing imagery.
The Sanyo XACTI CG110 HD Camcorder is set to become available in both
read and black sometime towards the end of April though, at this
juncture, this release seems only to take in the Japanese market (a
wider international launch no doubt following thereafter).
There s no word on pricing.
