HP TM2 Tablet Leaked Tablet Specs Leak Early, 12-inch display, Intel Core 2 Duo, Not the Courier

Specs of a mysterious new HP tablet showed up on an eRetailer's website
today, spoiling the surprise for HP. It doesn't appear that it's the new
Microsoft Courier (which is being developed by HP), instead, this is a
completely different new tablet that the manufacturer is releasing.
eCost added the HP TM2 tablet to their database ahead of schedule,
giving us
price and specs on the new tablet but without any pictures of what this
thing could look it (the picture above is an older HP tablet). It'll run
an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (clocked at 1.3GHz), 4GB of DDR3 memory,
on-board Intel graphics and a 320GB hard drive, with Windows 7 Home
Premium 64-bit.
Other features, the 12.1-inch display is multi-touch capable, and a
webcam and fingerprint sensor are included. The TM2 tablet was rumored
back in Septepmber 2009, but this is the first we're seeing of its
specs. eCost is asking $1,009.99 for it, and it's currently
out-of-stock with no word on a release date.

Courier is dead in the water as I understand it. Microsoft canned it over a week ago.
