ASUS P7H57D Motherboards Unveiled New Mainboards Feature DDR3, SLI-Crossfire Support, Core i5/i7 Support, USB 3.0
to build their own computers, and have always gone above and beyond in
offering enthusiasts special overclocking-friendly features. Their new
new boards in the P7 line the P7H56D and P7H55 have a ton of new
features for enthusiasts.
Both of the new boards will use Intel chipsets an
d will carry the Intel LGA 1366 socket for the current Core i5/i7
processors. The P7H56D will be a full ATX board while the P7H55 will a
micro-ATX board for small form-factor PCs. ASUS promises the boards will
be USB 3.0 and SATA 6G ready.
The boards will ship with ASUS' GPU Boost technology – an
interesting software interface that will allow you to easily overclock
and monitor your graphics cards performance. The boards will come with a
special expansion chip that will let users use two graphics cards and
still have room for the expansion adapter for USB 3.0 and SATA 6G. No
word on pricing at press time, but the boards will come out today.
