Team X092 Flash Drive Features Dual-Ports New Flash Drive Features USB 2.0 and eSATA connections

The Team Group is showing off a new flash drive, the X092 that features
both eSATA and a USB 2.0 connection, giving you a choice of a
conventional USB port or the new, superfast, eSATA port. Yesterday, we
covered a similar device from A
-DATA. This could be a coming trend of eSATA-USB hybrid drives.
According to the Team release, the X092 flash drive is capable of
drawing power from the USB 2.0 port to power the eSATA drive. The X092
uses quadruple channel technology, and actually contains
fourย separateย storage devices in the drive case at once. This, Team
claims, boosts read/write performance.
Team promises 100Mbps/40Mbps for reading and writing, respectively, when
using the eSata point which, SlashGear points out, would let you
transfer a 4.5GB movie file in a meager 42 seconds. The drives will be
offered in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models, with no pricing or release dates
yet declared by the company.
