BlackBerry Presenter Gets Official RIM Takes PowerPoint Presentations Seriously with the BlackBerry Presenter

I was pleasantly surprised to see RIM thinking out of the box today as
the first product the company unveiled at CES 2010 wasn t a new
BlackBerry smartphone. What RIM launched was a tool m
eant to help you deliver PowerPoint presentations while you re on the
go. The BlackBerry Presenter is the device in question and it will be
available in a store near you soon.As BlackBerry smartphones are the
weapons of choice for many professionals out there so it only makes
sense for RIM to launch such a device. The BlackBerry Presenter will
help you deliver fast presentations without having to bring your laptop
along. A BlackBerry smartphone is still required in order to make the
Presenter run.
Glenn Laxdal, Vice President, Product Management, Research in Motion had
this to say about the new gadget:
Mobile professionals are always looking to carry less when travelling.
BlackBerry Presenter equips mobile professionals with a simple, secure
and convenient way to deliver presentations directly from their
BlackBerry smartphone, giving them the freedom to leave their laptops
behind.
