8GB Eye-Fi Pro X2 WiFi SD Memory Card New Eye-Fi Pro Card Offers Class 6 Performance, Integrated 802.11n Wireless Connectivity

Eye-Fi have unveiled their newly updated high-end Eye-Fi Pro WiFi
touting SD memory card in the form of the 8GB Eye-Fi Pro X2 which, along
with offering 802.11b/g/n support also boasts twice the memory capacity
of its predecessor " thus resulting in the most powerful Eye-Fi memory
card ever.
The 8GB Eye-Fi Pro X2, which like previous Eye-Fi cards allows for
wireless uploading of your photos and files via your wireless home
network directly from the card itself, additionally comes with a year of
free hotspot access (valued at $14.99) allowing end users to upload
files via hotspots in airports, hotels, cafes and, of course, McDonalds,
whilst automatic geotagging allows for the easy organisation of files
(specifically photos) as well as facilitating the capability to view,
shear and share �your latest trips via a map.
Along with the aforementioned features the 8GB Eye-Fi Pro X2 also
features what s termed as �Endless Memory which will act to delete the
oldest images on the card so as to ensure you always have free capacity
available when you need it " and, thanks to the card cross checks with
what you ve previously uploaded, there s no fear of you loosing imagery
that s not been uploaded previously.
The 8GB Eye-Fi Pro X2 is set to become available as of today and will
set you back just shy of $150.
