Sony Reader Daily Edition Begins Shipping Sony Daily Edition Reader Availability Confirmed

Sony have officially announced today that their Daily Edition reader
that the company revealed back in August is finally shipping. Apparently
all pre-orders taken before December 20th will be given green light and
should start shipping in the next 48 hours — just in time to be
put under that beautiful Christmas tree of yours.
One of the most hyped reader coming from Sony, the Daily Edition brings
a 7-inch e-ink touch screen display, 1.6GB of storage and the much
anticipatedย free 3G wireless access for mobile ebook downloads,
courtesy of AT T's network.
Measuring just 0.6-inch thin and weighing only 12.75 ounces, the Reader
Daily Edition is to be delivered with six adjustable font levels (easy
reading for everyone, in either portrait or landscape mode), supports
multiple file formats including ePub and PDF, and allows access to over
one million free public domain titles from Google Books.
Other than the deal with Google, various libraries have announced that
they'll offer users access to loaned library titles, which delete
themselves after 29 days from first being accessed. On top of that you
probably remember the New York Post and Dow Jones exclusive content deal
… right?
Sony's Reader Daily Edition, is yours for $399.99.
