Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition Starts Selling in the US 5800 Navigation Edition Shipping Online, Priced at $299

For those out of the know, the new Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition
is a sleek handset that the Finnish manufacturer has introduced a few
months ago, in the summer. Billed as the perfect mix between a personal
navigator and an advanced media player the new 5800 Navigation Edition
has just been announced today to be shipping across the United States
with lifetime voice-guidance (for all of North America) offered by the
Ovi Maps and a car mount kit.
Available with an integrated Assisted-GPS receiver that vouches to keep
you on track, the new Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition allows you to get
speed limit warnings, speed camera alerts and updated traffic
information along with navigation help for pedestrians which include for
example shortcuts like one-way streets, parks and pathways.
The PND comes preloaded with updated US and Canadian maps that will save
you some traffic with your carrier for downloading more data via the
phone's HSDPA connection — unless, of course, you're living in one
of the 180 other countries it supports.
As you already suspected Nokia 5800 NE boasts a 3.2-inch high resolution
touch display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus
and dual flahs,ย a microSD card slot to expand the storage space to up
to 16GB and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.
All these for $299 online on Nokia USA.
