NEC has announced today a new eco-friendly LCD monitor, the 22-inch
MultiSynch EA222WMe. Being a LED-backlit monitor, and we kee
p seeing more and more such monitors these days, the EA222WMe will offer
you the same amount of brightness as regular displays but it will be
consuming 20% less power.So why not save Earth while we enjoy great
image quality out of a new 22-inch monitor? The EA222WMe is going to
consume up to 52% less power than previous LCDs made by NEC. It will
also radiate up to 61% less heat which is quite impressive. Since we are
talking numbers, the new MultiSync panel weighs 25% and requires 15%
less packaging than any previous numbers.
The monitor is compliant with ENERGY STAR 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Gold
and it s free of materials like mercury, halogen or arsenic. So what do
