JVC Kenwood AVENUE MDV-313 Car Navigation System MDV-313 Touchscreen In-Car SatNav with DVD Player & 1Seg TV Tuner

Following on from JVC and Kenwood merging to form JVC Kenwood the new
company has acted to unveil their first in-car navigation system, namely
the JVC Kenwood AVENUE MDV-313, which, along with touting a sizable 6.1
� touchscreen 489 x 234 resolution display offering 3D mapping also
comes with integrated DVD player and 1Seg digital TV tuner.
Serving as both a SatNav and an in-car entertainment device, the JVC
Kenwood AVENUE MDV-313, along with the aforementioned digital TV and
integrated DVD player additionally boasts an AM/FM radio tuner and
inbuilt USB and SD card slots allowing for playback of MP3 and WMA audio
files directly from memory cards and USB flash drives whilst, if you own
an iPod, you can factor in the MDV-313 happily supporting Apple s DAP to
boot " though not, alas, via Bluetooth but, instead, via an optional
cable (honestly, one would think a device of this calibre would offer up
Bluetooth pairing, especially considering its somewhat premium price point).
The JVC Kenwood AVENUE MDV-313 Car Navigation System is set to hit
retail in Japan this month with a price tag of some 90,000 Yen (which,
as at the time of writing, roughly equates to around $1,034 / pound
sterling623 / EUR686).
