JBL Creature III Speakers Announced, Look Slick Creature III Speakers Exclusive from Apple, Work With PCs

Although we know that Yamaha's YSP-5100 digital sound projector is
capable of replacing all those speakers that came bundled with your
hi-fi sound system, in honesty it's a fact that we can't say no to JBL's
latest addition to their computer speakers lineup. Dubbed JBL Creature
III, the slick speakers look cool and share a close resemblance to the
ghosts from Pac Man that the previous Creature II had, but promise not
to compromise on quality for looks.

Available in black or white, the new JBL Creature III speakers are
actually a 2.1 system with a pair of satellites that measure 3 x 3 x
2-3/4 and a 3-inch subwoofer that measures 9 x 9 x 9 . The system
outputs a total power of 25W, with the satellites having 5W and the
subwoofer 15W.
Although available exclusively in Apple stores and on Apple.com, the
Creature III speakers promise to work like a charm even with your PC
— no matter what OS you're running. So better save some $129.99 if
