Google Chrome OS Netbook Supposedly in the Works Google badged Netbook Preparing for Late 2010 Release?

After all those things regarding a Google phone, that we already know
might go under the name Nexus One, meant to showcase the power of the
Android OS, we just caught wind of a new rumor wandering about that
Google might prepare to launch their self-designed netbook that would be
used to promote the new Chrome operating system.

Although it's only a rumor for now, TechCrunch ninjas have heard that
Google has been in talks with at least one hardware manufacturer about
building a netbook for themselves. More to it, apparently Mountain View
gave that certain company a request for proposal (RFP) with detailed
specs that we're dying to get our hands on.
All we know for now is that the Chrome OS netbook that will bear the
Google moniker won't make it to the market sooner than next year's
holiday season — the exact same time when Acer netbooks are coming
out running Chrome OS. But if we're to make any suppositions, the device
would probably run on an ARM processor (as some say they're faster than
Intel's Atom CPUs) and would be targeting Nvidia s Tegra line.
Sounds like a high performance netbook, don't you think?
