ASUS EeePC 1201N Netbook Available on NewEgg EeePC 1201N Supposedly Shipping Earlier Than Expected

If a couple of weeks ago we reported
that Amazon is starting to take pre-orders for the new ASUS EeePC
1201N netbook with a shipping date rumored for January 15th. So here we
are today browsing through NewEgg for some deals and we laid our eyes on
the EeePC 1201N only to see that the company is selling and shipping
(although not confirmed) the much awaited device.
For those out of the know, the new ASUS Eee PC 1201N is not an average
netbook as it brings a more powerful 1.6GHz Intel Atom N330 dual core
processor (how about an ARM in there guys?), has an NVIDIA ION (GeForce
9400M) chipset under the hood and a 12.1 WXGA display to get the eyes
with. Unlike the Amazon version this one only has 2GB of RAM and a 250GB
hard drive (plus the 500GB web-based storage space).
Price is $499 and is only available in black.
