Acer Ferrari One Released Ferrari-branded Netbook Released, 1.2GHz CPU, 4GB DDR2 RAM, $600

Acer and Ferrari have had a long-standing partnership together, as Acer
is a sponsor on the Scuderia Ferrari F1 superteam. This isn't the first
Ferrari-branded Acer Laptop, but it is the first to be a 'netbook'. This
netbook will pack quite a punch, as it will be a bit more powerful than
regular netbooks.
The stats of the Ferrari One are impressive for a 'netbook' computer:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core CPU clocked at (1.2GHz), 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 32000 Grahpics card, Windows 7 Home Premium and a
250GB hard drive, and all of this sitting under a 11 screen. Of course,
all of that comes at a price, as the battery life is only about 5-hours
on the Ferrari One.
According to Acer's press release, the laptop captures the 'look and
feel of Formula 1 racing'. The Ferrari One has a checkered flag palm
rest, tire-shape grips on the bottom of the body, and racing-inspired
wallpapers in the computer. From someone who grew up during the
Ferrari-Michael Schumacher era of dominance in F1, this thing
isย undeniablyย cool. The Acer Ferrari One laptop will set you back $600
and is now shipping.
