Sport cars owners are usually loaded and don't mind spending some more
to tune up and squeeze out a few more horsies out of their very
expensive toys. Hence why Germany-based IMSA GmbH targets the Lambo
owners with their new upgrade kit for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4.
Previewed back in January for the first time, the IMSA kit was created
from scratch and includes a stylish carbon fiber treatment. It is based
on Lamborghini's height-adjustable sports chassis and fitted with same
expensive central locking wheels found in the IMSA racing range.
Exterior modifications include front and rear aprons, front and rear
fender flares, side skirts and a new rear wing, there are carbon fiber
bucket seats and other composite interior parts.
But the new IMSA GTV Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is a real monster
with its polished stainless steel exhaust that improves the power output
by 5-percent and a 4-percent increase in torque. In other words it
squeezes out 29HP and 15 lb-ft torque from the 5.2L V-10 engine to bring
it to a total of 581 HP and 413 lb-ft of torque.
We wouldn't mind getting behind the wheel with this road burner.
