ASUS UL30Vt Notebook Announced With Discrete Graphics UL30Vt Laptop Brings Faster Performance & Improved Battery for All Day Computing

Folks from ASUS have added to their UL30 laptop lineup with the new ASUS
UL30Vt. Expected to be available on the market soon, just in time for
Christmas, the new UL30Vt notebook has managed to combine some serious
specs together with the good looks of a robust brushed aluminum
exterior, which won't let anyone down.
A lightweight, 1-inch thick new model in the UL30 series, ASUS UL30Vt
delivers a 13.3-inch HD (1366×768) Color-Shine (Glare-type)
display, packs an Intel 1.4 GHz Core2 Duo processor which can be
overclocked, or a Celeron at 1.2 GHz if you want it cheaper, up to 4GB
of DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of storage and the new ASUS Turbo 33 technology
that promises up to 33% faster performance.
There's also Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11 b/g/n), a 4 in 1 card reader
(SD,MMC,MS,MS-Pro) and optional Bluetooth V2.1+EDR.

Other than that, the things that certainly got our attention are the
option for a dedicated graphics card — the NVIDIA GeForce G 210M
with 512 MB VRAM, and the improved battery that promises all-day
computing , which translates to almost 12 hours of work time.
There s no word on pricing yet, but it is likely to be priced somewhere
close to its predecessor, the UL30's, which retails for $749.
