BlackBerry Curve2 got our whole attention we somehow missed the new LG
Chocolate Touch. But we're getting back to it today, as we caught wind
that the Chocolate Touch is expected to show up in Verizon Wireless
stores in about two weeks — which is a few days after the November
6 store availability for Motorola's Droid, so makes sense to give Caesar
what is Caesar's.
For those who can't remember it, the LG Chocolate Touch is an average
smartphone with a WVGA touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera,
EV-DO Rev. 0, a 3.5mm headset jack and a HTML Web browser. There's also
Visual Voicemail, VZ Navigator, corporate email and some form of limited
multitasking support. On top of that there's a rather solid battery that
should provide enough for up to 306 minutes of talking time or 470 hours
while in stand-by.
Far from being thrilled as we're more into full-featured smartphones
that can be used for almost everything, give it the right pricing and
Verizon will see some good sales on the new LG Chocolate Touch.
