(on the whole, they just strike us in the main as wholly crass) but if
we could get over out hang-ups, and we could justify spending a small
fortune on a phone, then the newly announced Motorola Aura Diamond
Edition " which follows on from the previously featured standard
Motorola Aura and Motorola Aura Celestial Edition – would probably
be the luxury phone we d opt for " though we d much a platinum or
titanium version rather than gold (I have, as regular readers will know,
a hate campaign for all things gold other than white gold for some
inexplicable reason).
Sporting an 18 carat gold shell encrusted with 34 diamonds, the
quad-band GSM/EDGE Motorola Aura Diamond Edition other than its highly
distinctive design, offers little in the way of particularly impressive
features with the device s most notable features being stereo Bluetooth
connectivity, its touting of CrystalTalk technology, 2GB of internal
memory and a 2 megapixel (no, seriously) camera, none of which exactly
jumps out as being particularly inspiring, considering what the device
will set you back should you want to pop one of these in your pocket.
Indeed, all in all, it s a classic case of style over substance if ever
there was one.
The Motorola Aura Diamond Edition has just been made available to
purchase today and will set you back a cool pound sterling3,500 (circa
$5,730/ EUR3,815 as at the time of writing).
