HTC Tilt2 Officially Available on AT&T, Priced QWERTY-equipped Tilt 2 Runs WinMo 6.5, Has 3.6-inch WVGA Display

If this week is going to be about Verizon, the Motorola Droid and the
CLIQ, last week's top stories in the mobile industries had HTC on the
front page, with the HD2 (Leo) and the Tilt 2 in the spotlight. Speaking
of the HTC Tilt2, the handset which was rumored for an October 18th
release date on AT T was late by one day and just got official with the
US carrier, starting today.

For those who don't remember it, the quad-band HTC Tilt2 is a rather
sleek smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6.5. It comes with a 3.6-inch
WVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with zoom (4x), a full duplex
speakerphone and a five row QWERTY keyboard with tilt-up display (hence
the name) that makes texting and mailing an easy job.

There's also a built-in FM radio, Xpress Mail for both personal and
corporate email, 3G, Blutooth and USB connectivity, and a 1500 hi
capacity mAhr battery with up to 8.5 hours of talk time and 20 days in
stand-by.

Definitely not an entry level mobile to go with, the new HTC Tilt 2 will
definitely appeal to the youngsters. Too bad is going to be priced on AT
T from $349.99 after a mail-in rebate and a signed contract with your
name on it.
